    The five-year plan announced last June had them starting the Donizetti Tudor (?) trilogy this season – wonder what happened?

    How odd! My best guess is they couldn’t get the singers they wanted, since those operas are not the most popular.

    FYI, the Queen Trilogy will start in 2009-2010. As with many companies, economic realities occasioned some programming shifts in 2008-2009.
