I was actually at the Music Center the day they were filming that Mad Men episode; unfortunately, they were wrapping up when I arrived. This was in July.

I noticed it too. It took me a second, but as soon as they showed the main staircase, I knew, and it BLEW MY MIND.

The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion does look like a 1960s Hilton hotel lobby, now that you mention it.

It is always amusing to see a place one knows very well standing in for some place else entirely.
