Bravo, Bravo, BRAVO!!!! Jay will be a joy for the Met audience to experience! He embodies all that the young, unsuspecting, emotional Siegfried should be.

Congratulations to Jay! I was really impressed with his work in the SF Siegfried. He sang well and was at one with the Zambello’s concept, too.

I was bowled over by Jay Hunter Morris’s Siegfried last night on the SiriusXM broadcast of the premier of the Met’s new Siegfried. His is a remarkablly young-sounding, consistent throughout the vocal range and even. I just hope that he will husband his resources and not wear out his impressive voice by singing too many Siegfrieds in his young carreer

It is heartening to hear Morris did well. Thanks so much for letting us know.

Never heard such an un-German Siefried. No time for pronunciation classes? Debby V. same problem. Sloppy!
