    Pretty conservative season though it looks promising. When is “Dialogue des Carmelites” ever going to be part of an SFO season? I’ve never seen it.
    A number of former Adlerini in some pretty hefty roles. I’m a little surprised to see Davida Karanas as Brangaene. That’s a big role for someone so young. I liked her as Waltraute here in SF, but I’m not sure her tone is beefy enough for “Tristan.” And I really question the casting of Ben Heppner. Last I saw him he was a very labored Gherman in a Met “Queen of Spades” and that was two years ago.
