I adore Berlin. Thanks for posting it. I saw a great evening on Monteverdi conducted by Rene Jacobs at this opera house. Sublime.

It was the longest time I had spent in Berlin, and certainly there is enough to do there.

It was this wacky and totally effective merging of the 1610 Vespers and Il Combattimento di Trancredi e Clorinda. It was unlike anything I’d seen, and I adored it. Did you see/hear anything amazing when you were there?
