The incoming 2009 Adler Fellows are Leah Crocetto, Renée Tatum, David Lomelí, Austin Kness, Dennis Doubin, and Allen Perriello. They join Heidi Melton, Tamara Wapinsky, Daveda Karanas, Daniela Mack, Andrew Bidlack, Alek Shrader, and Kenneth Kellogg.
The outgoing Adlers are Ji Young Yang, Katharine Tier, Matthew Piatt, and Lara Bolton.

Lomeli is a seriously amazing singer…I’ve heard him sing Ottavio at Merola, of course, as well as Javier in Luisa Fernanda with Domingo. Watch out for this guy. Rumor has it that when we get Trittico in ’10, he’ll be doing Rinuccio.

Definitely agree. None of the choices are big surprises, least of all David. I’m looking forward to hearing him next summer in Traviata.
