    This is a tragedy. I don't necessarily like all of the productions that Mortier has been responsible for, but at least he's doing something different. The first season of programming looked so compelling too (Einstein on the Beach, Makropoulos Case, Death in Venice, Pelléas et Mélisande & Rake's Progress).

    I fear NYCO might be headed the same way as Opera Pacific.
