General Director of SF Opera

San Francisco Opera's General Director David Gockley has renewed his contract for 5 more years, and will leave the position in 2016. Nicola Luisotti will remain as Music Director until at least that time as well.

    Now now… remember we’ve seen so much worse.
    I am glad he won’t stay past 2016, though, because if he does the stage of the opera house will be replaced by a 2500 sq ft video screen and the orchestra pit will be filled with iPod speakers.
