While I hope with all my heart that Mr Storey heals up utterly and completely (and in plenty of time for “G”), I am so happy to read that Mr Hunter Morris will sing Siegfried for us in “S” — he was so wonderful in the Berkeley West Edge Opera one-night “Ring”, as well as in other operas he has sung in the Bay Area. Huzzah!! Welcome back Jay!!

    Dear Opera Tattler –
is your reviewer-at-large, “the last chinese unicorn”, twelve years old?
I only ask because I cannot fathom the idea of adults referring to themselves in that manner….

That’s very funny, sometimes I do not think I have mentally progressed much further than 12 either. At that age I was reading Les Misérables, Gone with the Wind, and books by Oliver Sacks. It goes without saying I had no idea what was going on in these books, but my, did I ever take myself seriously!
