The incoming 2012 Adler Fellows are Marina Boudart Harris, Laura Krumm, Renée Rapier, Joo Won Kang, and Robert Mollicone. They join current Adlers (pictured left, photograph by Scott Wall) Nadine Sierra, Brian Jadge, Ao Li, Ryan Kuster, and David Hanlon. Outgoing 2011 Adler Fellows are sopranos Leah Crocetto, Susannah Biller, Sara Gartland; mezzo-soprano Maya Lahyani; countertenor Ryan Belongie; tenor Daniel Montenegro; and apprentice coach Tamara Sanikidze.

I am most proud of getting the apprentice coach right. I would have picked Renée if I hadn’t known she was at LA Opera right now, but gosh was I wrong about the baritone.

2011 was a wonderful group! Maya, (she is going to be GREAT…the complete package), Leah, Nadine, Brian, Ryan, Ao, Sara….. I am so impressed! Great singing – AND acting… I am so proud of this years singers!!! I hope they will ALL be invited back to sing roles on our stage again…..
Looking forward to hearing the 2012 Class!
